AtBC Stakeholder Forum & Annual General Meeting

November 7, 2012 - November 8, 2012 , The Coast Coal Harbour Hotel, Vancouver.

AtBC is hosting our sixth forum designed to continue to engage Aboriginal Tourism Association of British Columbia Stakeholders. The event will take place from November 7th–8th, 2012 in Vancouver at the Coast Coal Harbour Hotel (1180 West Hastings Street). The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place after lunch on the second day of the forum, Thursday November 8th, beginning with registration at 12:30pm.  

During the upcoming AtBC 2012 AGM, five (5) vacancies on AtBC's Board of Directors will be filled via the Board of Directors election process. The AtBC Board is composed of six (6) regional, six (6) at large, and one (1) ex-officio position for a total of 13 board positions. Each board member serves for a two year term and the board elections are staggered. Nomination for an AtBC Board position must be received no later than Wednesday, October 31st 4:30 PM, 2012.

Annual General Meeting

Registration for the AGM begins at 12:30pm, with the Call to Order & Verification of quorum to commence at 1:00pm. Once the agenda is approved, the Annual Report and AtBC Five Year Plan 2012-2017 will be reviewed. Board of Director Elections begin at 2:00pm and the closing remarks and prayer will complete the meeting at 3:00pm.
