Blocktreat Live at Xatśūll Heritage Village

Blocktreat will be holding their official Cariboo album release show, with special guest Sam Tudor, at Xatśūll Heritage Village on May 14th, 2016. The music will start around 8:30 PM, and tickets are a suggested cost of $15.

Blocktreat is a slow burn of electronic, acoustic, and natural textures. Live, Brandon Hoffman plays effects-drenched mandolin and a suitcase of electronics, while Brent Morton plays drums (and sometimes electronics too).

Sam Tudor recorded his first full-length strange folk album in 2012, titled “Animals And Arson”. The album was played frequently on CBC radio shows North by Northwest and Radio West, and was in common rotation on campus radio stations such as CiTR and CFUR.
