National Aboriginal Day at Trout Lake

Tuesday, June 21, 2016, marks the 20th anniversary of National Aboriginal Day! Join the celebration on unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations! National Aboriginal Day at Trout Lake is a community-based, full day of events, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, that showcases and celebrates the diversity of Aboriginal people from across Canada. First Nations, Métis and Inuit people gather to share their spirit, experiences, stories, songs, art and dance with each other and the general community. Make sure you bring your cameras and video recorders to capture the day’s festivities! Everyone is welcome to this zero-waste, FREE family-friendly event. No drugs or alcohol are permitted. #NADCanada
