Sister Says at Skwachays Lodge

Sister Says will be performing at Skwachays Lodge Hotel and Gallery with special guest Hannah Curr on Saturday, Mar 11, from 7:00-9:00pm. This is a by donation, all ages event. Come early as seating is limited.

Sister Says is a soulful genre-bending pop duo/band based out of Vancouver fronted by mixed Haida-Tsimshian siblings Gillian and Robert Thomson. They have performed in diverse shows which include The TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival, The Islands Folk Fest in Duncan, The Talking Stick Festival in Vancouver, and at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto opening for Stars and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

Contemporary Nuu-chah-nulth and Metis, folk-pop singer-songwriter and at only thirteen years of age, Hannah Curr is one rising star to watch. Currently she works on her own original writing. As well, she has done voice-over work and has composed/ recorded a song for children’s show “Coyote Science,” airing this year on APTN.
