Arrival Klah-ah-men (Lund, just north of Powell River on Hwy 101)
Plan your trip here & check into the Historic Lund Hotel for your two nights stay (hint: upgrade to ocean view room, if available)

Saturday October 13

Breakfast (continental, included with your stay)
8:30am Blanket Ceremony, by
Lunch on your own, explore Klah-ah-men, walk the harbour-side boardwalk
1:00pm Cedar weaving with Sosan Blaney and her team – leave with your own cedar pouch
Late afternoon paddle on the water with the Tla’amin Canoe Family (weather pending)
Saturday evening, Group dinner at The Historic Lund Hotel Pub (NoHom)

Sunday October 14

9:00am Tla’amin language class with Drew Blainey, Cultural Advisor with the Tla’amin Nation and author/Tla’amin Elder Elsie Paul.
Lunch on your own – explore Lund, an ancient fishing village – read up on your new book included in the package
Afternoon paddle with the Tla’amin Canoe family should Saturday not work out.
