A Simplified Travel Trade Experience

I am very happy to announce that our travel trade website has been launched! This has been a long time coming, and it looks great. There are many features to help our travel trade partners promote Aboriginal experiences in British Columbia, which will support Aboriginal tourism in BC!

Some of the great features of the website include easy-to-use online tools to help plan Aboriginal-themed packages, or even to just add some kind of Aboriginal tour, a stay at an Aboriginal hotel or lodge, or any of the other amazing Aboriginal experiences that are available throughout this province.

When I spoke with our CEO Keith Henry about the new site, he was most excited about the benefits that AtBC’s Stakeholders would receive from this new resource. He believes that the Stakeholders have great programs and experiences to offer, and now it is even easier for people to find out about them!

The main purpose of this website is to provide a one-stop-shop for the travel trade. This includes a tool kit, a list of travel trade events, information on familiarization tours, and my blog. The tool kit includes access to a Digital Asset Management System, sample itineraries, flat sheets and backgrounders, a list of specific export-ready products, and access to online training for trade partners.

Take a look around, and let us know what you think!
