Canoe Cultures is an Indigenous lead organization, dedicated to the art and culture of the canoe, and the artists who create them, all events and programs take place on the traditional homeland of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh(Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people. In addition to an artist collective, focused on passing on the art of canoe carving, this organization offers canoe tours that launch from the Concord Pacific Community Park. Book a tour to learn about Coast Salish Indigenous History and the rich heritage of canoe culture that traces back to ancient times, immemorial. Each trip is up to 120 minutes long and is led by an Indigenous guide/Skipper through False Creek. Plan for a 3 hour visit to make sure you get the most enjoyment from the experience.
