Owned and stewarded by the Katzie First Nation, Xwum is proud to support outdoor adventurers at Pitt Lake. Pitt Lake has been beloved for generations and is full of wildlife and activities for the whole family, the wetlands are home to numerous protected wildlife species, such as beavers, osprey and other migratory birds. Xwum is capable of supporting large groups who want to canoe down Widgeon Creek, if you are wanting to stay the night out in the backcountry, get in touch to schedule an overnight stay at Widgeon Campsite overlooking Alouette Lake. Xwum proudly also offers an invigorating hike to Widgeon Falls and custom guided cultural tours, stay tuned as these offerings continue to grow.
