Speaking Earth Haqaⱡpaⱡniʔnam (Hackalth-palth-knee-nam) is a series of extraordinary activities showcasing the Ktunaxa culture, who possess a language unlike any other in history. Their stories and traditions are deeply connected to the land, and the Nation is proud to share their culture and traditions with guests.

Join Ktunaxa nation members for up to two days of storytelling, excitement and enlightenment, based at the St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino. Guests will experience traditional knowledge and culture interpreted by cultural entrepreneurs in a hands-on environment. Hear stories, scrape hides, learn to bead, play traditional games, and other historical locations. And at night, guests may choose to sleep in traditional tipis.
