    Marketing

ITBC’s marketing efforts – including the Authentic Indigenous designation, campaigns, and travel industry and media partnerships – showcase the richness and diversity of Indigenous tourism experiences in B.C.

We collaborate on marketing initiatives to amplify First Nations and Indigenous voices, elevate tourism businesses, and inspire travellers.

At the heart of our marketing efforts is a commitment to representing the voices of Indigenous tourism interests in British Columbia. By sharing diverse stories, we aim to support thriving First Nations and Indigenous futures, and inspire global visitors. These efforts help Indigenous communities shape how their stories are told while supporting the development of thriving Indigenous economies and promoting responsible travel.

We inspire travellers to learn about the distinct cultures, traditions, and languages across B.C. by promoting First Nations and Indigenous-led experiences, including guided cultural tours, hands-on learning, wildlife and nature experiences, wellness experiences, and cultural events and festivals. These immersive experiences deepen travellers’ understanding, connect them to the land and people, and foster mutual respect between cultures. Promoting responsible travel helps preserve the natural beauty and well-being of British Columbia for future generations, while also driving sustainable economic growth for First Nations and Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs.
