Session Details
This initiative offers three courses that focus on strengthening your leadership skills through practical tools and real-world examples.
1. Challenging Conversations
Do conversations about performance or conflict feel awkward or confrontational? You’re not alone. Many leaders find these moments uncomfortable. By addressing conflict early and skillfully, you create a space where your team feels heard and valued — setting the foundation for stronger relationships and better results.
This 60-minute course will help you identify different types of challenging workplace conversations, clarify what you want to achieve before you start, develop active listening and empathy skills and learn practical best practices to build trust and improve workplace culture.
2. Performance Management for New Leaders
Sharing feedback with your team can be tricky. This course guides you to give coaching feedback that feels supportive and encourages growth rather than defensiveness. This approach helps your team feel valued and motivated, while also boosting business success.
In this 90-minute course, you will learn to understand why coaching is an effective leadership approach, use the quick 2-minute coaching model for timely feedback, and apply a simple team scorecard to focus on key skills and save time.
3. Conflict Resolution
This course gives you a foundation in understanding and resolving workplace conflict in a way that builds trust and strengthens teams. You'll explore strategies to stay calm under pressure, manage emotions, and turn conflict into an opportunity for connection and growth.
In 90 minutes, you’ll explore how to recognize the root causes of conflict, choose the right response for different situations, stay solution-focused, even when conversations get tough and foster a respectful, resilient team culture.
