Culture Keepers are the heart of Indigenous tourism in British Columbia. As Elders, Knowledge Holders, artists, language speakers, land stewards, and tradition bearers, your wisdom guides how we share our cultures with the world. You ensure that Indigenous tourism is respectful, authentic and deeply rooted in cultural ways of life.
At Indigenous Tourism BC, we recognize that cultural knowledge is not a commodity—it is sacred, living, and inherited with responsibility. When shared in a good way, culture can build bridges between generations, communities, and visitors.
We are committed to supporting Culture Keepers in shaping how Indigenous tourism is practiced and presented. Whether you are advising a tourism venture, leading cultural experiences, or guiding your First Nation’s approach to tourism, your voice matters.

How We Support Culture Keepers
We offer opportunities to collaborate, consult, and lead. Through partnerships, cultural content development, community engagement, and advisory roles, Culture Keepers are invited to help shape the future of Indigenous tourism. We honour your knowledge with care, and we ensure it is protected, valued, and shared with consent.
