Introduction to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
This equity, diversity, inclusion (EDI) training helps individuals and organizations take important first steps. You’ll learn key ideas surrounding EDI, including bias, microaggressions, and how to use inclusive actions in your daily work.
Cultural Safety
This by-request training explores the dynamics of lateral violence and lateral kindness, examining its roots in trauma and how it shows up in our lives, so we can move forward together with greater understanding and care.
Through an overview of Canada’s history of colonization and oppression, combined with Indigenous teachings and ways of being, participants may develop actionable steps to offer trauma-informed and culturally safe services to Indigenous peoples.

Indigenous Tourism BC will cover the full costs of this training for eligible participants:
- Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) residing in BC
- Indigenous-owned tourism businesses (51%+ Indigenous ownership), and employees of
- First Nations-owned tourism businesses (51%+ First Nations ownership), and employees of
- First Nations Communities in BC
