    Struggling to balance labour costs with quality service? This 90-minute course shows you how to align staffing with your business needs through smarter planning and small daily adjustments. You’ll improve service, boost team engagement, and strengthen profitability—without overcomplicating the process.

  3. Controlling Beverage Costs

    Gain control of your beverage program with bite-sized lessons on inventory management, recipe consistency, pricing, and waste reduction — all in 90 minutes. Use practical worksheets and quizzes to set your target beverage cost, monitor performance, and optimize your menu mix.

  4. Calculating Food Cost

    Learn the five key steps to managing food costs confidently in 90 minutes: regular inventory, consistent recipes and portions, waste tracking, and effective menu pricing. These essential skills will help you cut waste, improve accuracy, and increase your bottom line.

Indigenous Tourism BC will cover the full costs of this training for eligible participants:

  • Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) residing in BC
  • Indigenous-owned tourism businesses (51%+ Indigenous ownership), and employees of
  • First Nations-owned tourism businesses (51%+ First Nations ownership), and employees of
