Serving It Right

Serving It Right is British Columbia’s responsible liquor sales and service program created especially for people working in the hospitality and liquor service industry. If you’re involved in selling or serving alcohol, this course is a must - designed to support you in providing safe, legal, and respectful service to every guest. This online course is here to empower you with practical skills and knowledge to handle alcohol service with care. It covers important topics like:
  • Recognizing signs of intoxication
  • Understanding your legal responsibilities
  • Helping reduce over-consumption of alcohol
  • Preventing impaired driving
  • Minimizing the risk of violence
  • Avoiding sales to minors
  • Knowing your duty of care both on and off the premises
  • Creating and following responsible beverage service policies
By the end of the course, you’ll feel prepared to:
