Supervisor Training

Supervisor Training helps people in tourism become confident, capable leaders. Who Should Attend?

This training is for people working in tourism who want to build their leadership skills. Whether you're new to supervising or have some experience, this course helps you grow in your role. If you care about leading others kindly and doing your job well, this is for you.


Session Details

This is a self-paced online course made up of eight topics and 15 modules total. It takes about 6 hours to complete. You’ll learn through reading, examples, and reflection. Once finished, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion and a digital badge.



Eligibility

Indigenous Tourism BC will cover the full costs of this training for eligible participants:

  • Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit, Metis) residing in BC
  • Indigenous-owned tourism businesses (51%+ Indigenous ownership), and employees of
  • First Nations-owned tourism businesses (51%+ First Nations ownership), and employees of
  • First Nations Communities in BC

Prerequisites

This training is open to all. You don’t need any past experience to start. If you enjoy helping others, have good communication skills, and are ready to take on more responsibility, you’ll do great.
