This year’s annual event is a celebration of where we’ve been and a working session for where we’re going.
Since 1996, ITBC has grown from a passionate grassroots effort into a global leader in Indigenous tourism. Thirty years in, we are gathering to honour our collective story and looking forward to the work still ahead. We believe that Everything is Connected. This Indigenous Tourism Gathering is a milestone that belongs to everyone. ITBC welcomes all members to join us to set a new direction for the next 30 years.
The AGM and Indigenous Tourism Gathering is a key industry event that brings together Indigenous tourism operators and entrepreneurs, to connect with each other community leaders and industry partners to share updates, exchange knowledge, and strengthen strategies that advance Indigenous tourism in British Columbia.

Bring your drums, songs and stories. An inspiring evening of connection to begin the event. - Thursday, Nov 5 – AGM and Indigenous Tourism Gathering | 9am – 4:30pm
A gathering built around connection. This year is a celebration of where we’ve been, and a working session for where we’re going. Come ready to make connections, engage with others and plan for the future together. This gathering will host short, powerful talks, group sessions, facilitated business matching and the annual business to carry the organization forward.
- Thursday, Nov 5 – ITBC Networking Event | 6pm – 9pm
An evening of networking with industry peers over food and drinks. Reconnect with familiar faces, meet new ones, and build relationships that carry the sector forward. - Friday, Nov 6 – Breakfast and Resource Fair | 9am – 12pm
Start your day with coffee, breakfast bites, and a chance to connect with peers before heading home. Browse info booths from ITBC and industry partners, pick up resources, and make a few new connections in a relaxed, low-pressure setting.

- For voting ITBC members travelling from outside the Lower Mainland, request a room at the Coast Coal Harbour for a seamless experience before September 17, 2026. Hotel rooms have limited availability and are not guaranteed.
