In addition to an artist collective, focused on passing on the art of canoe carving, this organization offers canoe tours that launch from the Concord Pacific Community Park. The Qualicum First Nation Waterfront Campground, Cabins and RV Park is centrally located a short 14 minute drive from Qualicum Beach on beautiful Vancouver Island, offering a great camping experience with beach access for all our campers. on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, bordered by the temperate waters of the Strait of Georgia, the campground is divided by the Big Qualicum River providing two distinct camping areas: North Campground and South Campground. This Eocene fossil bed was officially designated a Provincial Heritage Site under British Columbia’s Heritage Conservation Act on July 19, 2012. This expansive fossil field contains diverse plant, insect, and fish fossils. 

The trail entrance, identified by a teepee, is located on Highway 97 between Kamloops and Cache Creek and offers stunning views of the surrounding Shield Mountains and Thompson River.
