For Chef Keenawaii Roberta Olson, food is more than nourishment, it’s a cultural experience rich with symbolism and stories. In Keenawaii’s Kitchen, guests are invited to connect with Haida culture through a multi-course meal that’s both meaningful and unforgettable. Canoe Cultures is an Indigenous lead organization, dedicated to the art and culture of the canoe, and the artists who create them, all events and programs take place on the traditional homeland of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh(Squamish) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) people. In addition to an artist collective, focused on passing on the art of canoe carving, this organization offers canoe tours that launch from the Concord Pacific Community Park. Book a tour to learn about Coast Salish Indigenous History and the rich heritage of canoe culture that traces back to ancient times, immemorial. The Qualicum First Nation Waterfront Campground, Cabins and RV Park is centrally located a short 14 minute drive from Qualicum Beach on beautiful Vancouver Island, offering a great camping experience with beach access for all our campers. on the eastern side of Vancouver Island, bordered by the temperate waters of the Strait of Georgia, the campground is divided by the Big Qualicum River providing two distinct camping areas: North Campground and South Campground.
