Schi:ya Cafe is rooted in community with a mission to strengthen culture, cultural pride and to make a mark in the industry. Schi:ya Cafe was started to create a space that felt safe and represented Seabird Island First Nations people and values. The diverse breakfast and lunch menu incorporates Indigenous food elements such as bannock and elk sausage, there is something for everyone including vegetarian options and a kids menu.
